How long does my order take to arrive?

We aim to deliver your order within 7 - 10 working days of accepting your order and payment however delivery times cannot be guaranteed.

Why don’t you deliver outside of England&Wales?

Unfortunately we can’t offer this service as we have yet to source a delivery agent who can offer the kind of care and attention our products deserve when being transported further afield. We hope to resolve this and will update the site accordingly.

Will your delivery team unpack and assemble my furniture?

We will endeavour to do this where possible however if your furniture is being delivered by a 3rd party it may not be possible so we cannot guarantee this service.

What happens if I cannot make a delivery slot that I have agreed to?

Unfortunately there is a cancellation charge of £50.00 for all deliveries cancelled within 24hrs of the agreed date and time slot. This also applies if the delivery crew cannot find your property and you are un-contactable on the contact numbers provided.

Will your delivery team take my furniture upstairs?

We will take your furniture up one flight of stairs but for risks involving health&safety we cannot take your furniture any further than this. Please note it is your responsibility to provide a safe working area for our delivery teams to deliver into.

What if your drivers can’t fit my furniture through the door or into my room of choice?

Our drivers will then leave your furniture in a different room / hallway of your choice providing it is at the property as your chosen delivery address.

Will your drivers take doors off hinges or make any other structural changes to my property if I ask them to which enables the furniture to get into the room of choice?

No, unfortunately this is not possible.

What happens if the furniture does not fit into my room of choice and I have to cancel my order?

In this instance there will be a £25.00 cancellation charge and a further charge of 25% of the price of the item you have bought.

What happens if you don’t arrive on the day you are supposed to deliver?

Delivery dates and time windows are not guaranteed but we will do our utmost to ensure goods are delivered within the stated date or soon afterwards. In the event that a delivery is not mae on the agreed delivery date Classically Modern will re-schedule the delivery as quickly as possible.

Risk of Damage in Transit and Property

We carry the risk of loss or damage to the Products until you receive them.
The Products belong to you when you have received them and have paid us in full.
Until payment has been made in full we may ask you to return the Products to us at any time.
If you return the Products to us for any reason, they will become our property and be at our risk from the time we receive them.

My furniture is damaged at point of delivery what should I do?

This is extremely rare as we quality control all our furniture and accessories prior to delivery. We will of course aim to replace your item as quickly as possible and endeavour to make this our number one priority. Please ensure that you check your item(s) carefully at the time of delivery and inform us immediately of any defects. Under no circumstances should goods be returned to us without prior agreement.

Please note we cannot accept any claims for damaged furniture unless it is refused at point of delivery.
